Your best friend is always welcome at Destin Commons. Enjoy an afternoon of shopping, dining, and outdoor exploration together, and please remember to keep your dog leashed at all times while on property.
DOG CODE OF CONDUCT
To help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests, please follow these guidelines when visiting Destin Commons with your dog:
1. Guests 18 years of age or older may bring leashed, well-behaved dogs to Destin Commons.
2. All dogs, including service animals, must remain on a non-retractable leash no longer than six feet or be secured in a carrier or stroller at all times.
3. Dogs must be under their owner’s control and supervision at all times.
4. Owners are responsible for any injury, damage, or disturbance caused by their dog.
5. Any incident involving a dog must be reported immediately to Security at 850-269-5717.
6. Owners must promptly clean up after their dogs.
7. Dogs may not be left unattended or in the care of minors.
8. Dogs that are disruptive, excessively noisy, aggressive, or otherwise pose a safety concern may be asked to leave the property at the discretion of Destin Commons management and security.
9. Dogs must comply with all applicable local licensing and vaccination requirements.
10. Dogs are not permitted in fountains, the Splash Pad, Playground, or Luckey Climber areas.
11. Never leave a dog unattended in a vehicle.
12. The sale, promotion, or solicitation of dog-related products or services is prohibited.
13. Please check individual retailer and restaurant policies regarding pets before entering.
14. Reptiles, birds, and other non-service animals are not permitted on the property.
Guest tips
Help create a welcoming environment for all guests and their pets:
1. Always ask an owner’s permission before approaching or petting a dog.
2. Give dogs space and avoid crowding them, as unfamiliar environments can cause anxiety.
3. Children should be supervised when interacting with dogs.
4. Be respectful of guests who may be uncomfortable around animals.

Need a water break? Destin Commons features six convenient dog hydration stations located throughout the property. Simply look for the blue dots on the map below to find the nearest spot for your pup to refresh and recharge.
PAWS POLICY
Many of our retailers welcome four-legged shoppers and even offer pet-friendly products for your furry companion. Be sure to check with a store associate for individual pet policies before entering.
After a little retail cardio, you and your pup can relax and refuel together. All patio dining areas at Destin Commons are dog-friendly, and select restaurants, including Starbucks and Smashburger, may even have special treats for canine guests.
