Taylor Shaw
A native of Destin, Shaw attended elementary and middle school in Destin and high school in Ft. Walton Beach. Beginning at age 14 as a dishwasher at Indian Bayou Country Club in Destin, Shaw, now 32, eventually moved to Austin, Texas with his own restaurant business. He sold it three years ago and relocated to Athens, Georgia to continue his education at the University of Georgia. With an undergraduate degree in painting from Mississippi State, he is currently working on his Masters of Fine Arts in Sculpture at UGA. While deep in his studies at the university, Shaw also takes on commission art work in woodworking, metal fabrication, and wood sculptures.
