Weekends Were Made For Brunching!August 21, 2020
Brunch is not just a trend that we try on for size. Brunch is a movement and weekends were made for brunching! Have you ever wondered what makes brunch so popular? There are a few reasons why brunch is such a social phenomenon but let’s start with the fact that there is something on the menu for everyone. Feel like having breakfast? You are covered! Not craving breakfast foods? Again, the menu will have something to tempt your taste buds.
Brunch also represents the time when you can get together with friends and family and relax over a delicious leisurely meal. It is the perfect time to catch up on the week’s activities and maybe even a little gossip.
Or maybe brunch is so popular because you get to add in booze. Just add in a Bloody Mary or a Mimosa and you have the perfect recipe to unwind with! No matter what aspect you enjoy the most about brunch, weekends equate to brunch time.
Another Broken Egg Cafe
Another Broken Egg Cafe has perfected brunch to an art form! Their passion is to create remarkable dishes for breakfast, brunch, and lunch using only the freshest ingredients. Combine noteworthy food with an ambiance of Southern flair and you have created the ideal recipe for a perfect weekend brunch.
We all have our favorite dishes but we recommend starting your meal with an ABE Famous Infused Mary or a Spiked Vanilla Cold Brew. Let the unwinding commence!
Do you have a bit of sweet tooth? If you raised your hand with an enthusiastic YES, then try the Lemon Blueberry Goat Cheese Pancakes, delicious house-recipe cakes filled with fresh blueberries and goat cheese, and topped with lemon zest and fresh whipped cream.
If you prefer savory to sweet, then maybe try the Crab Cake Benedict, jumbo lump crab cakes on an English muffin, topped with poached eggs, andouille-infused hollandaise, red peppers, and green onions. You can never go wrong with the traditional Chicken & Waffles. The house-made chipotle honey that tops this dish makes it a crowd pleaser!
One look at Another Broken Egg Cafe’s menu and you will be hooked.
World of Beer
World of Beer serves up a delicious brunch that you just have to try. They have taken breakfast and lunch favorites and have put their own unique stamp on it resulting in foods you will be talking about throughout the week. We love the Applewood Bacon Benedict which is crisp applewood smoked bacon on a house-baked buttermilk biscuit and topped with poached eggs and hollandaise sauce. We had you a Bacon!
If you want something a bit lighter side, try the Avocado Toast. World of Beer takes crisp multigrain toast and tops it with a fresh avocado spread, diced tomatoes, queso fresco, crushed red pepper flakes & scallions. It is like no avocado toast you have ever tried and makes eating healthier delicious. Add in your favorite mouth-watering stout to the spread on the table and you brunching at the best!
El Jalisco Mexican Grill
While El Jalisco does not offer a brunch menu but they do offer a Blood Mary that is worth stopping by for. Relax on the patio with this famous tomato-based cocktail, chips and salsa and your weekend is getting kicked off right. By the time you get ready to order a second, you will be ready to dive into a plate of fajitas or mole enchiladas.
