We find movies even more entertaining when we have read the book then get to see it come alive on screen. Books-A-Million and AMC makes that possible! It’s always super interesting to see the actors chosen and how exactly they go about telling the story in a limited amount of time. Personally, my favorite part is chatting about the comparison over coffee or drinks after the credits roll.

Fifty Shades Freed by E L James

Synopsis: Anastasia and Christian get married, but Jack Hyde continues to threaten their relationship.
Haven’t read this just yet? Sounds like it’s time to hang out on a comfy chair in Books-A-Million ASAP. This one is already out in theaters!

Annihilation by Jeff Vandermeer

Synopsis: A biologist signs up for a dangerous, secret expedition where the laws of nature don’t apply.
The fact that Natalie Portman stars in this kind of adventure/fantasy movie makes me feel like it could be really amazing.

Red Sparrow by Jason Matthews

Synopsis: Ballerina Dominika Egorova is recruited to ‘Sparrow School’ a Russian intelligence service where she is forced to use her body as a weapon. But her first mission, targeting a CIA agent, threatens to unravel the security of both nations.
99% of the time, anything with Jennifer Lawrence is going to be amazing. Let’s be honest. Mary-Louise Parker and Jeremy Irons also play big roles.

A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L’Engle, Anna Quindlen

Synopsis: After the disappearance of her scientist father, three peculiar beings send Meg, her brother, and her friend to space in order to find him.
This cast looks incredible, the effects look incredible, and the costumes look incredible. This is definitely going to be one of the most popular movies in March and probably all of spring.

Where’d You Go, Bernadette by Maria Semple

Synopsis: After her anxiety-ridden mother disappears, 15-year-old Bee does everything she can to track her down, discovering her troubled past in the process.
Cate Blanchette plays Bernadette and Kristen Wiig plays a big role too. Oh, and apparently Troian Bellisario plays the first person Bernadette meets. Any Pretty Little Liars fans out there?
